GA VOWELS
Ga vowels are seven in number. Each of those vowel sounds can, for the purpose of speech and inflexion, be lengthened or shortened. Nevertheless, each retains a regular and constant value.
The short and long from of the Ga vowels should not be likened in any way to the so so-called “closed and opened vowel in English.
